As one could probably tell I buy a lot of drugstore makeup. The main reason would most likely be because I am a fan of instant gratification and my town doesn’t have a MAC counter or a Sephora so when I do get the hankering for a higher end item I have to order it and then wait a few days. Boo. The other thing is with the drugstore if I don’t like it I’m not out however much the higher end stuff runs. For instance my 20-some dollar Tarte blush in Blissful which is okay but I don’t love.
Speaking of blush (how about that transition, eh), I recently picked up a Wet n Wild blush just out of curiousity as they are so raved about on the series of tubes. At 2.99 (at CVS) I figured what’s the worst that could happen? So, under much duress (yeah..right) I picked up the color Mellow Wine.
It is beautiful. When it comes to blush, I prefer it be noticeable. My thinking is otherwise what’s the point? To each their own.

It is by far the best blush I have seen, so far, and the staying power is also amazing. It is smooth, pigmented and lasts; I’m in.
